How We Got Started
It all started when Hewitt and King suggested they write a book together. So Larissa Moon was born and a world of Mystic Cryptic Creatures. Their love of books inspired them to write more. Larissa Moon is the pen name of Hewitt and King. Mystic Cryptic Creatures in not the only series they have toyed with writing but as for now, it is their only series that they self-published and most proud of. They have other series planned as well as spin-off series from the Mystic Cryptic world, one being about Melody’s cousins and another being about Hunter, Caramie’s ex-boyfriend. Right now, they are just an idea but hopefully the two can get to work soon on the world they love so much.
Meet Larissa Moon
Larissa Moon will be hopefully turning out more books soon, with Hidden Hearts coming out this year. You may wonder how they decided on Larissa Moon as their name? King’s first name is Latrisha and they decided to take the La from her name and the next three letters from Christine and Larissa made perfect sense after that! Then, Hewitt wanted a last name that meant something, and brainstorming back and forth they came up with Moon, since it sound more supernatural and mystical. Larissa Moon was born. And hopefully, they will come up with more stories for you!
